Produced in Japan, this Matcha Leather is a unique bovine leather made using recycled matcha residue from tea production in Uji, Kyoto. The matcha residue is incorporated into the tanning and dyeing processes, giving new purpose to a by-product that would otherwise go to waste.
Its soft, supple texture and gentle colour tones make it suitable for a variety of leathercraft projects, including wallets, bags, journal covers, and other everyday accessories.
